Health Psychology and Human Nature

Feb 18, 2020

Can we change how we feel by moving? Today we discuss the very interesting effect of exercise on mental health. Exercise is as effective as both antidepressants and CBT for mild to moderate depression. We also talk about physical inactivity, the effects of exercise on the brain and cognition, the effects on alcoholism, tips and so much more.

Mats Hallgren is an assistant professor at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm Sweden. He studies the link between exercise and depression.
